So I went on a brief hiatus for about five weeks. Actually Clinton and I both did. He had major surgery that required a couple specialists away from home. I wont go into the details, but we are grateful to finally be home. I guess I just wanted to give some explanation as to why I havent posted in awhile and why Clinton is so beardy in the pictures. :)
We also had a lovely home coming. Our friends stopped by to help us carry our things into the car, Melissa made us a delicious veggie lasagna, Sam and Ben brought us a cake, and Richard and Tyler stopped by with some beverages. It was so great coming home to all these wonderful people when we had been away from home for so long. And just a couple days later Melissa and Kevin made a crazy good trifle for Clintons birthday. It was filled with cream, cake, chocolate, and berries! To die for! yum!
Also, things did not go quite expected with our stay so I wasnt able to do much sewing. I did finish one flat cap before we left and a flat cap with ear flaps that only required me to finish hand stitching during our time away from home. Hope you enjoy the photos!
